THE LAMA DORJE FOUNDATION HAS LAUNCHED OUR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN TO ACQUIRE  LAND FOR THE DEWACHEN SILENT RETREAT SANCTUARY.

 ​We found the perfect 3 hectare sanctuary in Costa Rica, with natural springs, diverse trees, flora and fauna tucked away on a quiet tropical mountain.  Acquiring this land will allow us to preserve this essential cloud forest and create silent retreat sanctuary where you are invited to take a break and re-encounter your true nature.

Our deepest inspiration is the power of awakening the human potential.

Drupon Lama Dorje grew up in monastic life in the Himalayas and completed a traditional 4 year solitary retreat in the Drikung Kagyu lineage. This intensive training serves  to stabilize insight and awareness, strengthen commitment to ethics, and awaken innate qualities of our human potential. His dream is to share these practices from which he has received immense benefit.

OUR VISION
Create a center for sharing traditional knowledge specifically focused on developing practices of inner and outer world transformation.

Although these practices are rooted in ancient teachings, their application are vitally relevant to the personal and global issues of today. 
Tibetans have preserved a treasury of knowledge for thousands of years that is considered to be one of the most sacred and essential keys for humanity.

As a geographically displaced community, place-based sanctuaries are vital for Tibetans to continue sharing this knowledge in uninterrupted continuity far into the future.

This sanctuary will be a place for Tibetan Masters to skillfully guide us through our inner landscapes to awaken limitless wisdom & compassion.
