The Lama Dorje Foundation is the heart of Lama Dorje’s global aspiration for peace. To work on his team is a unique opportunity to accelerate your spiritual growth while being of service to something greater than ourselves. This can be a powerful catalyst for transformation and is a precious chance to use your life energy in a profoundly meaningful and beneficial way to benefit others.

We are in the beginning stages of building Dewachen World Peace Sanctuary in Costa Rica, while also hosting year round online and in-person events. This makes for a demanding schedule yet the blessings of working for the Dharma are tremendous.

Ideal candidates for the new positions would have a strong interest in Tibetan Buddhism, an altruistic motivation to serve, good communication, adaptability to change, self-motivated, organized, and reliable.

OVERVIEW

The average person spends 2.5 hours daily checking in on what’s happening on social media. We’re there, too, and we want to use this powerful tool to help spread the benefit of the Buddhadharma. That’s where you come in!

We’re looking for someone who is social media literate, and ideally speaks both English and Spanish to communicate the vision of LDF, post highlights from Lama's teachings, as well as post frequent announcements of activities that people can participate in, with our social media following. You are someone who enjoys your time on social media and knows how to effectively communicate and interact with people there. If you enjoy creating community in virtual
spaces, we want to talk to you!

RESPONSABILITIES

Can include the following, but we also want to leave space for your own creative magic to
manifest!

● Check the google events calendar on a regular basis to find out the LDF event schedule

● Check In with Caroline frequently on whatsapp to get the teachings highlights and
photos and videos from each event

● Post updates on Lama’s activities and teachings within a day of an event occurring

● Keep in contact with Jeffrey on whatsapp and ask for frequent updates on Dewachen
land project – ideally make a post every 1- 2 weeks

● Announce events in advance of them occurring – ideally 2 weeks ahead and one day
ahead for small events (in a story or post). For large events, ideally 2 - 4 posts a month
in the 6 months leading up to an event. These can include inspirational quotes with the
event dates listed.

● Suggest video content for Lama to produce and give a timeframe for when you’d like to
post it

● Suggest creative post ideas to Carolina for review... once we get in a good flow you may
post without review

● Post Dharma quotes. We have a google drive where we collect them and you can also find some
you love!

● Keep the highlights section up to date on instagram

Experience working with Instagram and Facebook, including creating posts, stories, and highlights.

Experience with community engagement.

Benefits:

● Opportunity to practice service, compassionate communication, and meaningful
living
