Meet Drupon Lama Dorje
Drupon Lama Dorje is an intercultural liaison of the Himalayas.
He was born in the small village of Limi in a nomadic community of the Himalayan Region. At the age of 5 he requested to become a monk in the Drikung Kagyu lineage and completed his full monastic studies in Dehradun, India. He later elected to enter into solitary retreat for 4 years in the mountains of India where he trained deeply in the five-fold path of Mahamudra, Dzogchen and the Six Yogas of Naropa.
Directly after retreat, his teachers requested he live in Chile to expand the Buddhist teachings. Over the past 10 years, Lama Dorje has expanded the Philosophy of Living across Latin America through diverse events, seminars, courses and retreats, music albums, books, and sacred journeys in India and Nepal.
He teaches in Spanish and translated into English.
Nowadays, Lama Dorje travels the world with the vision to awaken the happiness of all beings, unite all cultures in global peace, and regenerate our home, the Earth, by expanding the altruistic actions of unconditional love, compassion, joy, and equanimity for the sake of all that live.
His root teachers are: H.E. Garchen Rinpoche, H.H. Drikunpga, Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje and H.H. Dalai Lama.
