Delve into the essence of ancient sound techniques that connect us to our true nature of wisdom and compassion in a fun, yet deeply moving way.
You may know Lama Dorje from his well-known mantras on Spotify. Now is the time to sing with him in person and learn about the essence of these sacred teachings in the magical setting of the Costa Rican cloud forest.
Experience teachings and transmissions of potent mantras, connect with community through song circles, relax at the river and come back to your center.
During this 5-day retreat, we will learn that mantras are not simply a ritual or a song, but a means of embodying profound spiritual truths that allow us to cultivate the three transcendental wisdoms – Unconditional Love, Pure Strength, and Primordial Wisdom.
When our mind is distracted and uncentered... these wisdoms are covered by three clouds in our life: Attachment, Anger, and Confusion. These are the source of our challenges we experience in work, relationships, health, society, and the planet.
The way to live a happy and healthy life is to tame our minds through meditation, transform our thoughts to wisdom, and awaken our potential to contribute to the world.
Lama Dorje will skillfully take us on a deep dive into 3 sacred mantras through oral transmissions, teachings and dedicated practice/song sessions to teach us how to transform these three clouds in our minds into the very source of love and awakening.
Mani Mantra for countering attachment and turning it into love and compassion.
Manjushri Mantra for transforming confusion into pure wisdom.
Vajrapani Mantra that allows us to catalyze the anger into pure strength.
Lama will teach us the rich Indio-Tibetan history and profound meaning of each mantra, how to utilize this wisdom in real life situations, and provide ample time to ask questions. He will impart deep teachings on transforming our lives by applying the remedies of wisdom, strength, and love.
Throughout the retreat, participants will receive Mantra transmissions and teachings, giving them an opportunity to connect deeply to the profound meaning and power of each mantra.
Acquiring a mantra transmission from a qualified teacher like Lama Dorje is a potent experience. The transmission carries with it the blessings and wisdom of an unbroken lineage that dates back over 2,500 years ago, making it a profound and potent practice for participants.
In the spirit of community and interconnectedness, participants will also partake in communal singing circles and mantra recitation circles, where the resonance of sacred sounds will become deeply imprinted in our hearts and minds guiding us on the journey towards inner peace and awakening.
Each evening, the day will culminate with a Fire Circle, providing a sacred space for participants to gather around the warmth of the flames and sing mantras, symbolizing the purification and transformation from old to new.
We welcome you to join us on this unique experience through the realm of mantra, where the fusion of ancient wisdom with modern insights catalyzes the path of awakening through power of sound.
